The Jewish Studies program was officially renamed the Taube Department of Jewish Studies on February 1, 2017.
Tad Taube is a great supporter of academic studies in the world and in Poland. For years, he has been a friend of the Jewish Studies Department (previously the Institute of Jewish Studies IFP), supporting the creation of our library, helping organize academic meetings, lecture series, etc. He has now generously contributed to the renovation of the Department’s new quarters.
