Thanks to generous funding from three leading Polish business institutions, the Department recently acquired scholarships for students, postdocs, visiting professors, student exchanges to Israel, and language courses.
- KGHM Polska Miedź SA is funding three scholarships for the top student at the undergraduate level, in the masters program and in the doctoral program. In addition, support from KGHM will allow us to create a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department.
- BGK Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and the BGK Foundation is funding three scholarships, including a visiting professor grant, and a scholarship for a semester study trip to Israel.
- PKO Bank Polski is funding two grants that will support annual academic conferences, and will allow students to travel abroad to study Hebrew and Yiddish.
