Poetry Session dedicated to Yehuda Amichai

Please join us for an afternoon dedicated to the person and works of Yehuda Amichai, renown Israeli poet, at the Deparment of Jewish Studies library on Wednesday, 10 October at 4pm. If you have ever wondered why God is full of mercy, how many sons Abraham had, or why Jerusalem is full of used Jews, the answers are to be found in the poetry of Amichai. This is a unique oppportunity to meet Hana Sokolov-Amichai (the poet’s life partner), his daughter Emanuella Amichai and the translator Tomasz Korzeniowski. Agnieszka Jagodzinska will moderate the meeting.
