Anna Berezowska holds a Master’s degree in Art History (2018) and Archaeology (2019) and a Master’s degree in Jewish Culture and Languages from the University of Wrocław. She is also a graduate of the One Year Program of Jewish Studies at Paideia – the European Institute for Jewish Studies in Sweden. During the academic year 2022-2023, she conducted a semester of doctoral research at Bar-Ilan University as part of the “Sandwich Doctoral Scholarship” program. During the academic year 2023-2024, she was awarded the international Leo Baeck Fellowship Program. Berezowska is currently working on a doctoral thesis at the Taube Department of Jewish Studies under the supervision of prof. Joanna Lisek, with the working title “Mikvah as a female ritual space in the years 1870-1939. Dynamics of change on the example of Polish and German lands”.
