The Department is co-organizing an international conference on MEMORY IN CONTEXT: HOW TO READ EAST EUROPEAN JEWISH EGODOCUMENTS. Our guest speakers include scholars from Poland, Israel and the United States who will be speaking about Jewish autobiographies, memoirs, letters, and other egodocuments. This is a unique opportunity to meet outstanding specialists and young scholars, and to participate in thought-provoking lectures and engaging discussions.
