National Competition on The History and Culture of Polish Jews
The Jewish Studies Department is a patron of a national competition on the history and culture of Polish Jews organized by the Shalom Foundation. Directed at secondary school students, The competition was announced on the 50th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising in 1993, and is held every two years. It is currently the most prestigious competition of its kind and enjoys considerable interest among young people and the recognition of experts in the field.
The Wrocław Jewish Studies Department offers automatic admission for winners of the competition.
