– hebraist, translator, literary scholar, and theater researcher; assistant professor at the Taube Department of Jewish Studies at the University of Wrocław since 202,2 and since 2024, the Deputy Head of the Department for Teaching Affairs. She holds degrees in Hebrew Studies (University of Warsaw), Theater Studies (The Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw), and Intercultural Pedagogy and Adult Education (Christian Theological Academy in Warsaw). Lipska also studied Theater Theory in Israel (Tel Aviv University). Her academic interests include Hebrew drama, modern Hebrew poetry, and issues of literary translation. As a translator, she works on Jewish memoir texts such as Yizkor books and autobiographies, as well as texts for theater, with a specialization in singable lyrics translation. Her doctoral dissertation, Polish Drama on the Israeli Stage and Israeli Drama on the Polish Stage, 1990–2018, received an honorable mention in the 9th edition of the Meir Balaban Competition for the best doctoral works on Jews and Israel organized by the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw.
